Chatteris Museum Events - 2008

The museum periodically stages special events. These events are usually advertised in the Centrepoint newsletter published by the Chatteris Centre Association and look out for posters around the town!

Special Events

From time to time we also have exhibitions of arts and crafts, so keep an eye out for these events.

There is normally one held for the period around the Chatteris Festival in June and in December in time for Christmas presents.

Chatteris Museum Society

The Museum Society meet 6 times a year (bi-monthly). Membership for the year is £10 per member; guests are welcome to any of our meetings/outings @ £2 per head plus any entry fee applicable on our outings.

29th May 2009 - a visit to Wicken Fen

A chance to find out about the history of the Fen and the Cottage. Members £2 per person and Guests £3 per person. Refreshments available if required at £1 per head.
Meet at 6.30 pm in Church Lane Car Park (opposite the Museum/Council Offices) to arrange car sharing.
