Chatteris
Museum Society is a group of people who are interested in the history of
Chatteris and the surrounding
During the
colder months they usually have a guest speaker come along to give them a talk
on a variety of relevant subjects, sometimes accompanied with a slide show.
During the
warmer months the group likes to visit other Fenland museums or other places of
historical interest.

There is an
annual subscription for members of just £10 and, guests are also welcome to
meetings at a cost of £2 a time.
Of course, when a meeting is held on the museum premises you and your guests will be free to browse through the museum exhibits and displays.

A 'History of the Fen and
Cottage', £2 per head for members, £3 per head for guests, refreshments
available is required £1 per head.
Meet at 6.30pm in the Car Park in Church Lane (opposite the Museum/Council
Chambers), for the usual car sharing.
