Chatteris Museum Events - 2008

 

The museum periodically stages special events. These events are usually advertised in the Centrepoint newsletter published by the Chatteris Centre Association and look out for posters around the town!

Special Events

   From time to time we also have exhibitions of arts and crafts, so keep an eye out for these events.

There is normally one held for the period around the Chatteris Festival in June and in December in time for Christmas presents.

 

 

Children's Activity Day

Thursday 27th August 2009 - 10.00am to 12.00 noon

Make a Tudor Mask, £1.50 per head, adults welcome to stay, all children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

Chatteris Museum Society

 

The Museum Society meet 6 times a year (bi-monthly).  Membership for the year is £10 per member; guests are welcome to any of our meetings/outings @ £2 per head plus any entry fee applicable on our outings.

 

Friday 31st July - Sea Henge display at Kings Lynn

A chance to visit Lynn Museum, to see their Sea Henge display, but there is plenty of other interesting things to see in the Museum.
The cost will be £2 for members and £3 for guests

We will meet at 6.30 pm in Church Lane Car Park (opposite the Museum/Council Offices) to arrange car sharing, to be there for 7.30pm.

Saturday 5th September - Wood Walton at 2.00pm

A visit to The Greater Fen Project at Wood Walton, more details to follow.
